4K a year Job Details Description Massanutten Resort Massanutten Resort is seeking a dynamic and skilled marketing specialist to assist the business relations department and Resort in our overall marketing and public relations efforts.
This person must be a well-trained descriptive and creative writer and be well versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics.
You will be an important member of our team, helping to develop content for a variety of campaigns, monitor campaign performance and assist with special projects, social media, video, media visits, and events and promotions.

Position Overview:
Content creation- email, website/SEO, scripts, seasonal themes, etc.
Marketing data analysis and reporting.
Video assistance- production organization, coordination, scheduling, milestones/timelines, goals.
Events and promotions- booth displays, set-up/tear down, spokesperson at the event for the Resort or specified departments.
Travel, media, and VIP stay coordination, itinerary development, and hosting.
Assist on all social platforms- guest service, content creation, ad management.
Create and maintain social media job postings.
Assist director with special projects, work closely with marketing manager, and general office and admin work.
Education:
Associate or College Degree in communications/journalism, marketing, or other related field.
Experience:

years in a creative
analytical marketing/PR position; preferably in travel and hospitality Required Skills:
Top-notch writing ability.
Marketing and social media marketing.
Knowledge of the complexities and needs of photo and video shoots.
Excellent ability to organize complex schedules and itineraries; people and events.
Superior communication skills; ability to pitch ideas, get large groups on the same page, and aligned.
Creative thinker.
Website CMS experience and Google Analytics.
Data mining, interpretation, and reporting.
Public relations and events.
Intermediate/working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 with GA Certificate.
Preferred:
Graphic Design (Adobe Creative Suite).
Videography and photography.
E-commerce and POS systems.
Niche marketing; ski, outdoors, waterpark, etc.
Market research.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Influencer and Event Marketing.
